The ASSISi Global Design and Innovation Awards recognize excellence in design and research for seismic isolation and energy dissipation technologies around the world.
Submissions are sought that demonstrate innovative and creative uses of seismic isolation and energy dissipation (SI & ED) technologies, and particularly that respect and enhance regional and vernacular construction methods and materials.
Submissions may be new or retrofit construction, and may be a building, non-building structure or component, or a bridge. The selection of awards will be made by a distinguished panel of international jurors. There will be a minimum of five jurors. Jurors will be academics and professionals with research and design expertise in seismic isolation and energy dissipation technologies. The award assessment will be made solely on the contents and information included in the entry submission.
