ISI promotes the culture of prevention, safety and risk awareness, collaborating with official bodies and institutions, the academic and scientific community, industry, professionals and general public.
Italian Seismic Engineering (ISI) is the national Association that represents the main players in the interdisciplinary sector of structural safety within the construction industry: companies specialized in the production of technologies for earthquake-resistant structures and engineering services; professionals qualified in the design of new structures and retrofitting of existing ones; and a Scientific Committee composed of professors and researchers, international leading experts of earthquake engineering.
ISI is a non-profit cultural Association.
In line with its objectives, it is open to all experts in the field:
companies, associations, institutions, public administration, professionals, professors and
researchers.
